Pacifier tricks?

I’m EBF and my one month old baby definitely uses me as a pacifier. I’ve tried multiple different pacifiers but baby hates them all! I’ve tried the “tapping” trick, trying to sneak it at the end of a feed...nothing seems to work! She just gets angry or gags. Any tricks?

My ebf guy is 17 weeks and also won’t take one he just gags and spits it out ! I’ve tried so many different kinds! Let me know if you find one that works for you !

Mine was the same way until he was around 3 month old and started bottle feeding as well. We used dr brown's bottles so we got the Dr brown's happy pacifier that is the same shape, it's the only way he'll take.

My son is 12 weeks and just a few days ago he started taking the pacifier. No reason why he does now & wouldn’t before. He used to gag every time or scream. So maybe it’ll just take more time?

There's a massive growth spurt at 4 weeks so baby might be cluster feeding/nursing for extra comfort more so than using you as a paci. Just like teenagers, baby growth spurts can cause discomfort and extra nursing helps them deal with the pain.

Have you tried the nanobebe paci? They are smaller than regular ones which would mean less gagging. They are inexpensive too. I ordered mine off of amazon.

Have you tried mam? That’s the only kind mine would use.

My baby only took the Phillips avent air pacifiers. Have your tried those?
