How do you single mothers do it? I might be weighing the option to be one.

Please don’t judge it hurts as it is. My daughter father and I had an amazing relationship and we still do for our daughter. We don’t say I love you anymore and the other stuff. He doesn’t really help her only when I ask but, as him being a father he should do it if I don’t ask. I do a lot for her except for paying bills that’s it. I can’t work because most of the income I’ll be earning will go to the babysitter which doesn’t make sense at all. I feel like a roommate to him. I am leaning to breaking up but, I don’t have income to leave and Ill feel embarrassed if I told my family. I just moved out of my parents last summer. I need advice..

Don't feel embarrassed to reach out to your family. Sounds like you need some time apart to reevaluate the situation and see how it makes you feel being apart. If you able to stay with your parents/family first a few weeks id start there. You might find you miss each other and you want to work on things. Or you might find your both relieved and want to focus on just coparenting. Either way a healthy relationship is whats best for your child.

This is how I felt with my first so I ended up leaving when she was almost one. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow with my second and will be a single mom to both with no help from the father. It gets hard sometimes but I love every minute of being a mom and do everything I can for my girls. I'm sorry you are feeling this way momma but do what's best for your happiness

It sounds like you guys might benefit from couples counseling. Give it your all before throwing in the towel!
I am a single mom to two little boys (4 &17mos) and I can attest to working to pay childcare. I nannied mostly, then lost my two nanny jobs when I had my second little one, was out of work for 4 months, then found a job, but I was $500 in the hole after a month and a half of work. It costed me money to go to work. Currently I nanny again to be able to have my kids with me and make more than I did at that job plus not having to pay for childcare. Working and doing all the other stuff, does add quite a bit to the load of daily life, like a shit load.
If you all have a good relationship and you think you could work on it I would give it my all, unless there is abuse or unhealthy dynamics beyond repair going on but it doesn’t seem that way from the post, just sounds a bit like a rough patch/dull moment. Love, as far as I understand it, is a daily decision to love that person intentionally whether you feel it or not.
Either way, we all get through it the same as the next—one day at a time. Sometimes one moment at a time.
