How do you budget groceries?
We spend about $400 on food a month. We go to Costco and Walmart. This is for a family of 4. Two adults, a 7 year old and 3 year old. Any advice on how to budget better or maybe stores to try out. We are trying to eat healthy on a budget. I don't usually buy too many snacks. Mostly Graham crackers, fruit and granola bars as snacks.
Thank you for the advice everyone! We buy our bulk items at Costco and smaller items at Walmart. We also buy household things (shampoo, laundry detergent, etc ) about every 3 months since we buy those in bulk as well. So at that time we probably spend about $200-$250 extra. I am going to look into coupons and meal planning as well. I also say I am going to plan but I don't. 😩
