What tests can I ask for

I’ve had two miscarriages in the last year. One chemical and one at 11 weeks. I am not 6 weeks pregnant and considering going on preventative leave (I am a teacher) but I am reluctant to leave because I’m worried of miscarrying again.

Where I’m from, our first appointment isn’t until 11ish weeks, but I am wondering if I can ask them to do some tests earlier to see if the pregnancy is progressing well... what can I ask them to do? Is it even worth it? The last time they said my pregnancy stalled around 6 weeks, which is where I am now, so I am just wondering if things are gonna just stop any day now.
