Did aspirin helped you lower your blood pressure?

My OB had me on low dose aspirin for at least half my pregnancy. It didn't lower it, but it did keep my blood pressure borderline. She had me stop at 36 weeks in case I needed to be included at 37 weeks. Thankfully we safely pushed it back to 39 weeks but once I stopped the aspirin, my blood pressure went right back to high again. Thankfully after giving birth it went down and stayed normal. Just pregnancy induced hypertension. Never developed into preeclampsia or anything else. 
That said, NEVER EVER just take something because you think it will help. If your OB hasn't talked about it and prescribed it, DO NOT TAKE IT. Follow your OBs directions.

I’ve been on low dose aspirin for 8 weeks now (20+1 today) and my blood pressure has stayed normal but I have no idea if it is specifically because of the aspirin. I think if your blood pressure is high they will most likely start you on low dose aspirin plus a pregnancy safe blood pressure medication depending on your numbers.

I take baby aspirin as per my OB’s advice. It’s prophylactic not therapeutic. If your BP was really high, you may need other meds. Check with your O

I’m on baby aspirin this time around. So far everything is good! But please talk to your doctor before you try anything like tht!

I’ve been on baby aspirin since week 13. I had a ton of clots in my placenta with my first and they have me on it this pregnancy to prevent it from happening again.
