Help! ‘My toddler hates his car seat!

My 16 month old SCREAMS when he’s in his car seat and sees me in the front seat, I usually sit in the back with him but now he screams bloody murder if I try to sit in the front seat, he has a new car seat. It’s super hard to get him used to it

My toddler is still rear facing so that helps her to not be upset that she can see me in the front. It also helped that there’s a Cocomelon song about the youngest hating his car seat. I try to explain to my LO that the car seat is there to keep them safe. She’s not in love with it but she’s definitely gotten more chill since I started doing these things. She also likes it if I sing or talk to her a lot in the car—it’s calming to them. Hope this helps!
