How much BM are you putting in each bottle?

Hello! I exclusive pump! My little one is about 3 months old! The caregiver is telling me that I should be putting more BM in each bottle. We currently do 4 oz and feed him about every 2 hours. I feel like he spits up even after the 4 but she says that he still seems hungry. He still gets about 33 oz a day. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I can only find online stuff about formula!

My LO gets 4oz in her bottle with the exception of her first morning bottle (she gets 5oz after sleeping all night). If she wants more, I just add more to the bottle in either .5 or 1oz increments.

With my first he never really had a bottle of bm bigger than 4 oz at any point in time. Make sure they are pace feeding too.

Sounds like a normal serving in my experience. My baby sometimes only has 2 oz servings still (5 months old) but she will snack throughout the day. She is kind of a big baby too. Sometimes she has quite a bit at a time but not usually more than 4 oz at once. So I think it depends on how often he’s eating. If he goes hours between feedings, maybe more, but i usually start off with a small bottle and we add more milk if she still seems hungry. Maybe try holding baby upright for 20 min after a feeding and be big burped
