Is this disrespectful?

My fiancé went out with his friends the other day and got drunk. I went to go bring them home after and he told me a story from the day about three other girls who walked up to him and asked who the most attractive out of the three of them were. He said that he told them he was engaged and he said they said it didn’t matter. So he said he pointed at one of them and said shes the most attractive then.

He keeps saying if roles were reversed he wouldn’t feel disrespected by it but I find that so disrespectful. He thinks because he told them he was engaged that makes it okay. I told him that I find stuff like that disrespectful and he keeps saying that Im just tripping. I really just wanted him to say that wont happen again but he just got mad and stormed out. Am I wrong ?
