Would you propose to your man?

My boyfriend is upset with me because he brought up the topic and asked me if I would propose to him and I said no. I told him I’d prefer that he propose to me and that’s what I expect. I told him that me proposing is never happening. So he hasn’t spoken to me since last night after he hung up on me because I was absolutely turned off by the idea. And he took it as me saying I don’t love him. He was like “you wouldn’t do that for me?”.

I think it’s cool if another woman wants to propose to her man but that’s just not me. And honestly it makes me see him as less of a man
