Big Ottoman

Our couch came with a pretty big square ottoman, it fits the size of the couch. We bought it 2 years ago and lately to me its feeling like its just taking up all the space in the living room and I want more floor space for our almost 2 year old to play. So today I put it in the closet so we could use the space and I feel like it opened up the room and so many possibilities. BUT my husband hates it not being in the room lol

Does anyone have ottomans that they put up or away during the day and take out in the evening?
