How many people at a baby shower?

Hi ladies. How many people is it normal to have for a baby shower? Some close friends kindly want to host a virtual baby shower for me. I’m a fairly private person and don’t tend to like being on the spotlight so big gatherings feel unnatural to me, but I don’t want to spoil it by being overly prescriptive. I’m a bit anxious about the whole thing now as it’s such a lovely gesture so don’t want to sound ungrateful and they already got started on the prep so obviously don’t want to say no either 🙁
