Maca Root and ashwagandha?

I've seen Maca Root with and without Ashwagandha. How important is the Ashwagandha? I have taken Maca Root with and without and don't notice a difference. Is there a big difference?
Also, what is your experience with Maca Root?

I took both, each time I got pregnant and I love it. But important that you stop once you get your BFP. I used them together and my fertility acupuncturist recommended taking them while TTC

I loved it. My libido was at an all time high. Im actually very excited to start taking it again when I’m postpartum lol.
