Late or just irregular again?

Ok so first of all I use to be irregular about 5+ years ago then went on birth control to regulate myself and it worked. But then my bf and I wanted to start “preparing “ to have kids so I got off birth control about 3 years ago. I had a miscarriage exactly a year ago and my period was semi irregular again then went back to being regular. According to the app it’s sometimes right or a day or 2 behind/ahead. Until in January of this year I had gotten my period on the 29th which overlapped into February and ended on the 3rd.

I’ve had sex 7 times over time in total since, and my bf uses the pull out method. He’s really good with it but I also know pre-cum can cause pregnancy as well so I’m not ruling it out.

I had very very light bleeding that was either dark brown or super light pink for about 3 days after we last had sex, for I’d say about 3-5 days off and on at the ending of February.

According to the app I should’ve gotten my period on the 3rd so I’m about 6 days late. Haven’t tested yet because I’m thinking what IF I get my period the same as I did back in January? At the ending of March leaning into April?

I’m going to test no matter what just for my peace of mind but want to know if anyone else has had this happen as well?
