not sure what to do

me and this guy have been talking for about 5 months... everything was good at first but this past month or so has been odd. he doesn’t text me as much and i asked him about it and he says he doesn’t mean to. we barely talk now so it’s awkward when we do. i also asked if he still liked me and he told me he did.

before he would text me 24/7 and freak out if i didn’t respond but now he seems like he doesn’t care. i’ve been trying to connect with him again but the spark is gone.

should i just stop trying and move on? i feel really unwanted and i know i sound whiny but i really cared about him and he’s not the same anymore.

he’s a sweet guy i just don’t want to get hurt if he’s not feeling it.
