I don’t like his dog in the bed

Don’t get my wrong, I love dogs and I’ve been around them all my life but I believe a dog should not be in the bed. Beds are for people and allowing the dog in the bed causes issues such as hair EVERYWHERE. I love my boyfriend and don’t want to act like I’m coming into his home and spending the night and asking for changes, but I don’t want to lay my face in a pillow with dog hair :(. My boyfriend has gotten the hint that I don’t appreciate the dog sleeping on the bed especially next to me (I wake up sneezing) but he still allows the dog on the bed.

How do I have the conversation that I don’t appreciate it, and I don’t want to sleep in a bed where the dog has laid in it, and the pillow is covered in his hair?
