i am going to the beach right when i get on my period😭 can you go to the beach when your on your period bc i’ve never gone to the beach with a period.

You can go to the beach on your period. But if you’re gonna be in a bathing suit/swimming I suggest using a tampon or menstrual cup.

No. That’s a biohazard. Wear and pad and don’t get in the water or wear a menstrual cup of tampon and be able to go into the water. Letting yourself free bleed in a public area is a biohazard.

Honestly, wear a tampon or cup. I remember I was at a water park as a kid, and they had to close a pool for a couple hours because some girl wore a pad and was bleeding in the pool. 🤢
I know the beach is a little different, but that blood's gotta go somewhere and a pad won't protect you. I used to use tampons, and they always worked well. I use a menstrual cup now, and still works just as well.

If you plan on getting in the water then use a tampon or menstrual cup. If you don't plan on getting in the water, then I'm sure using a pad will be fine. Just don't go into the water with a pad on.. If you decide to wear nothing at all, then you'll get blood all over your swimsuit and it could bleed through.

You can, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless your just very lightly spotting. Even if you have a normal light flow I wouldn’t recommend it because even if you don’t bleed much before you get in the water and it’s not noticeable, what happens is the pressure of the water will prevent any/most blood from coming out, and then as soon as you step out it will all pour out. Why can’t you wear a tampon? At first they can be a bit intimidating but they really aren’t bad once you get the hang of it. The first time I wore one was because my family was going to a water park and I was on my period.
