Me and my baby daddy talked

So I'm not with my BD. I am however 37 weeks pregnant with his child. This whole pregnancy has been us going back and forth and being petty and immature. I will admit it. I was being super immature too. We were just trying to make each other's lives hell. I even said I wasn't gonna back down until he did, but a few days ago I realized, we are 27 and 30. This is stupid. We are gonna have a fucking baby. This needs to stop. So I sucked up my pride. Called him and asked if we could talk. He said whatever and we met at Starbucks and I sucked up my pride and apologized first. He seemed really surprised. I said I was sorry for what I had been doing and I just want to coparent our baby because he needs both of us. He actually apologized too which I was very surprised about also. We pretty much called a truce and shook hands. Cheesy I know. Right now we are okay and we also had a talk about boundaries and stuff and agreements. I just want whats best for our son and he needs two grown parents. Not childish adults.
