Toddler, separation anxiety. Advice
Hey ladies. I need some desperate advice, my toddler is 22 months. And we are experiencing the WORST separation anxiety ever. It’s to the point where me and her father can’t be in separate rooms, which is obviously not possible. If he goes in a separate room or walks away(even if he explains to her that he’s going to use the bathroom) she screams and screams and screams will go to the door and have a complete screaming and crying meltdown. And the same goes for me. Except I bring her in the bathroom with me. She will point and tell us where to sit and if we don’t she loses it. If I run to the store and he stays home she screams and cry’s for dada for the first whole 5 mins of the drive. He has a dr. Appt and she has being screaming dada for at least 6 mins. All the calmly talking and telling her he will be right back and explaining to her the whole time he’s will be back but it does nothing. Its really really bad right now and I don’t know how to deal with it and he doesn’t either. Any advice ladies.
