How do I take this?

So I have this friend who I have known since high school, we even have days where it's more then friends but those are far and in between. So the last couple times that we have hung out together he has told me about how hard he gets around me, texting, talking on the phone whatever it may be. I found this weird and told him that he does that with all girls. He told me no that it doesn't, I find it hard to believe but sadly it's true I started to think back on the other times we have hung out and he has mentioned it every time. But do I take this as a compliment or is he just being weird? Or am I over thinking this? Please no judgement I am just asking because I don't really have anyone else to ask about this
