Spotting day after sex

Hi everyone!

I’ve already checked in with my midwife and she isn’t concerned but I wanted to see how common this is. Anyone experience light spotting the morning after having sex? I’m 17 weeks, husband and I had sex last night and woke up this morning spotting a little bit (started off bright red but only a small amount and only came after wiping when going to the bathroom, it has since stopped a few hours after). No other symptoms like cramping or anything, feeling the same as yesterday and the day before! I just have never experienced any blood during pregnancy until the bloody show right before having my first, so it was a bit shocking!
