Have your parents ever accidentally called your boyfriend by your ex boyfriends name?

My parents have accidentally called my boyfriend my exes name twice... luckily he hasn’t heard them either times. But I will literally feel so bad if he hears them call him the wrong name, like it stresses me out. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes several times and it was horrible! He was so hurt by it (now an ex lol) and would take it very personally. If I think if the situation was reversed it could be awkward but I realize it’s just a mistake made out of habit
