Looking to Adopt

Hello,

First of all, if you’re pregnant and thinking about adoption, you deserve a hug and so much more for your very tough and brave decision. None of this is easy, and all of it is complicated.

My husband, Tom’s family are all educators (Tom included), while my family is a mix of medical professionals and almost successful artists. I’ve been told my whole life that I’d never have a baby, until 7 years ago, I had a huge surprise! He just turned 6 years old and for 5.5 years my husband and I have been trying for another to no avail. We have had too many miscarriages to really have much hope left for a biological child of our own (my son predates my husbands and my relationship).

We are a responsible, almost middle aged couple. We own our home in Maine with a nice yard that I am always improving upon. We have two cats and sometimes we are graced by a litter of kittens. Our house has more room in it than the it has people for it, and the whole place is both baby and kitten proofed. We eat and cook healthy. We pay attention to things like organic and non-gmo products and we share our values with our little one who thinks he wants to be a marine biologist/professor when he grows up. Everyone in this house is ready to welcome a sweet little baby into our forever home, no questions asked.
