For baby teeth what's best a pulpectomy or root canal

I've heard of people getting root canals and the tooth hurts regardless would it have been better to pull out the tooth?

I've heard crowns on children teeth can hurt and it can be difficult for the tooth underneath to push through

Have any of you put in spacers for children teeth?
