Who has had COVID-19 and lost taste and smell?

How long did you lose taste and smell for? It’s been 8 days for me and wondering what the average time I should be expecting is. This completely sucks! The lose of taste and smell has literally been my only symptom of covid.

It because you’re zinc deficient- the immune system needs zinc to fight infection but we also need zinc for taste and smell

Like 2 weeks for me, my husband took a little over a month though.

About a month and it slowly came back. First it was dryer sheets and laundry detergent, then the next week toothpaste! Then a little more each day lol.

I had COVID back in early December I only lost my smell. I’m just starting to get some of my smell back now and it’s been over 3 months 😬
