My partner and I did because of his count
I ovulate regularly so I got him to save up for 4/5 days before ovulation and only inseminate when OPK was positive, that worked both times for us, first pregnancy was ectopic

Once a month? What's the reason you aren't having sex more frequently if you're trying to get pregnant? 
I only had sex once during my fertile window (but had sexnofteb outside of my fertile window) and the one time I had sex during my fertile week ended up in pregnancy. I had sex ON confirmed ovulation day. Confirmed with BBT. Opks were high. But it was confirmed ovulation day as I had a thermal shift

I dont know if its possible because i never tried it 😂 Once i started ttc i tried to bd frequently in my fertile window.
But good luck to you🤞
I would try tracking my cycle for a few months, so i would have an estimation for when the ovulation would be and try bd 2 days or the day before ovulation.
