Does the egg white discharge always mean ovulation

Question

I thought I already ovulated because that's what my dr told me when I went to my check up. But today I have the very sticky egg white discharge. Can it mean I ovulated twice or does it happen another time?

It’s possible to ovulate more than once per cycle, it’s called hyperovulation but it’s pretty uncommon

Ewcm can also indicate pregnancy . I had it when I was pregnant with my daughter.

Cervical mucus does not determine anything. It only tells you if it’s fertile or non fertile mucus. You can have any type or amount at any point in your cycle.

You only ovulate one time per cycle. Why was your doctor sure you ovulated? Did they do tests? 
If this is the first time you've had ewcm this cycle, chances are you are in your fertile window. But do you track your cycles? Use opks? Have regular cycles? You may see some ewcm outside your fertile window, but generally it's a good indicator of fertility. For women with hormonal imbalances they may gear up to ovulate multiple times in a cycle, and possibly see ewcm multiple times. But you only ovulate once. Personally I am regular and only see ewcm in my fertile window. But you may be different.
