Being fit whilst pregnant?
Hi everyone,
My last pregnancy, I was super fit, went to the gym three times a week until 34 weeks pregnant, and got diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and IUGR. I had to give birth at 36 weeks and baby girl spent 10 days in the NICU.
Post partum I lost all the baby weight, exercised religiously and felt great.
2 and a half years later, I'm finally pregnant again after TTC for 6 months and with 2 miscarriages. I had horrible morning sickness and fatigue during the first trimester and was unable to exercise, then I had appendicitis and was unable to exercise. Now I really don't feel like exercising because I feel like it might be too much and I'll put myself at risk with a premature child again.
Should I still exercise? I'm gaining quite a bit of weight, and a bit concerned, but also want to listen to my body which is saying PLEASE GOD NO 😂.
