At what age did you switch from an infant car seat to a convertible? I feel like my 5 month old is outgrowing hers.

I switched both of my daughters to a convertible car seat at 6 months because they had gotten too heavy to carry in the infant seat and I figured if I was going to be taking them out of their car seat every time we went anywhere that I might as well just make the switch to a convertible seat.

We changed him right after his 6 month appointment. The height limit was 30 and he was already 28.5 lol He comes from a tall family 😂

Around 3 months old - hated the Infant car seat and never used to to carry baby around.

I haven't yet, I will when she out grows the seat we have because I can't justify spending the money on a new seat when she still fits this one. Although I don't take it out of the vehicle anymore.

My kid was in a convertible since birth. Just worked for us. Going from infant➡convertible can really be done at anytime so early is better than to late.

I switched my first at 8 months because he got too tall for the infant seat. I switched my second at 6 months as soon as she could sit independently in a shopping cart because I hated lugging the infant seat around.

Around 10 months. Our daughter was still under the weight limit for the infant seat but it was too hard to carry her. 
I waited until I found a really good sale to buy it too

We switched at about 14 months. He could of stayed in the infant one longer because it carries up to 30lbs but we switched because he was a little long for it.
