Is it rude to ask family not to get your children easter baskets?

Ok so my 7 year old step daughter literally gets around 6 baskets just on her dad's/my side of the family. So not sure how many she gets at her mom's.

- one from us

- TWO from her grandma

- one from my mom

- one from a great grandma

- one from a great great aunt

Does anyone else have this struggle? My husband thinks it's rude to ask them not to make her baskets (especially his mom who insists on TWO baskets per kid!!). It's just overkill to me and spoils the child.
