How was it with a baby and toddler?

Question

So my daughter will be 3 by the time my baby is born. But I feel like I’m not ready. What if I become a bad mom? What if I can’t show my toddler more attention? Like I don’t know... I’m so nervous, scared, excited, and more. How did it go with a baby and toddler?

Thats a very common fear. 
My advice(I have 2u2, born 14.5 months apart) is that when baby is asleep, put baby down and focus, really focus on your oldest. When baby is awake have older siblings assist you. Its an overwhelming first 6 months and there will be errors made, but instead of being angry or upset, correct and redirect. Im always more concerned that the first child might resent the second child if I didn't pay enough attention. My methods have paid off and they LOVE each other. We are expecting #3 in April and im so nervous but I just have to remind myself to include them and that this new baby is being added into the pack so the new baby needs to go into their schedules, not them on the new babies schedule. Make sense? 
You are more capable than you realize and, sure, itll be tough. You just have to remember that you've got this. Nothing or no one is perfect and we ALL make mistakes.

My patience has definitely not been the best still working on it. But my 3yr old adores his brother,  and cares alot about him. But he does ask me to put the baby down in his crib to go sit with him. He cannot stand the crying but I expected that cause he hates loud noises. He helps alot with baby. Passing me diapers wipes, clothes etc. He's 3yr. My baby's 4m.

My boys are 16mo apart.   The best thing to do is be intentional with your time.   Set aside time each day for one on one time with your eldest.    Dont worry itll be ok

I’ve had all my kids literally back to back I have 4 kids. Tbh it’s hard not gonna sugar coat it but I wouldn’t trade it. Some days are much more stressful than others. Than other days it’s just peaceful and content. Parenthood is hard regardless. But it will all be ok ❤️ congratulations 💙

I had my kids back to back (got pregnant 4 months after giving birth) my girls are now 4&5 years old and currently pregnant with our first son (29w). It is scary and not easy but once you figure it out with daily routines etc it becomes easy, especially as they get older. Just know some days will be rough and some days will be easy no matter how much we try just know regardless of the outcomes that you are a great mum.

My son will be 3 around the time this baby is born, and my daughter will be 18m. My son has loved his sister since the day she was born. Let your daughter help as much as possible. If she feels involved, it won't be like you're ignoring her. Kids love to be helpful, even if it's just fetching diapers.

I was pregnant with my second when my first was one, I felt all the same things but they all went away once they saw eachother💙 he is a big help and I try to include him with everything we do. I have to admit I do feel like I pay a little less attention to him but he understands and is gaining his independence. My sons are now 2years & 4 months
