Ovulating?

I'm having clear stretchy, slipery/watery discharge and I heard that means you're ovulating but I took an ovulation test and it's very negative. I haven't had discharge like this in a long time it's usually cloudy white and thick. It's not a lot of discharge just a little bit to medium. My periods are irregular and I got of the pill in January and haven't gotten my period yet. Just a little side note. Could I be ovulating?
