What are the odds of seeing anything on an ultrasound at 4-5weeks, and detecting a heartbeat?

Would a doctor do a trans vaginal ultrasound this early as routine? Thank you.

There’s a chance you’d see a gestational sac, but probably not much else before 5 weeks. It’s iffy to get a heartbeat at 5.5 weeks, much less 4.  
I doubt a provider would do an ultrasound that early unless they suspected something was wrong (e.g., wanted to confirm that the pregnancy wasn’t ectopic or thought a MC might be occurring).

I was 5+6 when we saw baby and heartbeat, my hcg was over 10,000

Almost zero chance of a heartbeat that early, but maybe a small sac. Possibly nothing to see yet. 
My first ultrasound was 6+2 and there was only a sac. We didn’t see baby or heartbeat until 7+ weeks (and we knew exact dates because of trigger shot and follicle monitoring so)
