Concerns with growth scans

Hello everyone !

Today I am 16 weeks and 1 day !

Last week I got some letters through from the hospital , and they are wanting to do some growth scans (3 more ) !

I think this could be down to my BMI over 30 ( only slightly because of the pregnancy weight ) , also my dad has a history or high blood pressure and my paternal grandmother has type 2 diabetes ( so it could be down to this )!

Do you think the hospital may think it will be a big baby ? I was 9lb 6 oz and my dad was 12lbs !

They have also put me in for a gestational diabetes test at 24 weeks !

I’m concerned as they said everything was fine !
