Advice on how to deal w this man?

We've been together for 4 years 
Love him dearly but I can't stand this one thing about him.
Anytime he hurts my feelings or anytime I bring something up..he always gets mad at me and doesn't contact me until I contact him.
He never tries to apologize or change his behavior.
Example: " I just don't feel like you ever want to spend time with me."
Him: gets offended and ignores me for days. Waits for me to initiate contact.
- During this time I feel heartache, loneliness and unworthiness. I sit and wonder why he doesn't miss me or want to better our relationship. 
Its almost like he tries to punish me for having feelings.
Im so tired guys.
I am 30. He is 34. We aren't kids. I have tried communicating but as you can see, it's impossible. So long as I am acting how he wants and never complaining, we are "happy". It is exhausting.

Id end things. Its immature of him to behave like that. Its a controlling tactic. My 8 year old goes silent if she can’t do what she wants. If a 34 year old acted the same way I wouldn’t be able to cope.

This isn’t ok behaviour. Something isn’t well with him. Your partner should never “punish you” like that. Or punish you in any form.

He sounds a little immature. In every relationship it’s normal to have disagreements and/or step on each others toes once in a while where communication is key. Pretending that everything is always okay is not realistic and will get tiring. It also won’t resolve any issues which will create unhappiness. I’d try having a discussion in person with him so he can’t run away from the convo (Don’t give him a heads up that you will be bringing up anything or he may not want to meet) and tell him how important it is to you in a relationship for there to be open communication about everything including if there are issues. Ask him how he would feel if he was upset about something you did and you refused to acknowledge it and work through it. Tell him you understand how that could make him feel like you don’t care about his feelings and that that’s how it makes you feel too when he pushes those conversations aside. Ask him how he thinks issues will resolve if they aren’t talked about. Tell him that it’s something you need in a relationship and that if it’s not something he would be willing to do or try then you need to move on and find someone that can provide that.

Dating is about observing and qualifying a person to see if they can be a life partner. How a person responds when u hv an issie with them or life is important 🤔. It’s foreshadowing ehats to come if you’re pregnant or hv kids and life gets more serious.
    1. Id ask myself am i being overemotional and is my ask valid. Sometimes i notice im nitpicky over small things and that overwhelms my husband and he backs off. So examine yourself.
  2. Talk to him and see why. Also make sure youre not “blaming” him for how u feel but... telling him how you do feel and what u need from him.  If he continues to mot care then its a red flag.
