Should I stick with the name?

I've had such a tough time picking out a name for this boy. We finally decided on "orlando jude", however now I'm not too sure
 Am I overthinking that people will constantly bring up "oj simpson" if oj happens to be his nickname after a while? I'm almost second guessing his middle name because of one ignorant comment from a mom troll on here.

Tbh I like both names separately but when I first saw it. I saw “orange Juice”. Kids are evil nowadays and would probably make fun of his name.

Just don’t call him OJ. Generally people don’t use their middle name anyways so if you like the name don’t worry about it! I think it’s a cute name and I’d probably call him Lando over OJ.🤷🏻‍♀️

I think Orlando Jude is a very nice name. My son (9) actually has a kid that goes by OJ in his class and I've never heard my son talk about kids making fun of him for his name (I have heard stories about others though). 
No matter what if mean kids are going to make fun of someone or something they will find a way. I honestly think the generation of OJ Simpson has passed anyways. I don't think you should change it if it's a name you truly love! ❤

If you really want to change it, could consider Orlando Drew/Orlando Andrew. Sounds similar to Orlando Jude. Could also consider switching it to Jude Orlando. Most kids probably won’t really know the OJ Simpson reference but more so orange juice like other people have mentioned.

Sounds like a rude, uncalled for comment. I love the middle name. Thinking about using that same middle name too! I’m having such a hard time with boy names too!! I would say don’t feel bad about changing it up if you are second guessing it. Maybe keep it on the table but keep exploring other names until you are 100% sure about it!

I saw that comment and thought she made a valid point....I didn’t think she was trolling you....but that said at the end of the day it’s your son and only what you think and feel matters...I really feel ya though bc naming our kiddos is pretty darn stressful! Best of luck mama💓

I’d think more of orange juice from OJ and I think kids at school would too. I wouldn’t have thought of OJ Simpson until you mentioned it.
