He doesn't say it anymore

Recently,husband and I were going through a rough patch after a small argument about him seemingly pushing the care of our child solely on me when he is home. He would avoid sitting around me, or being close to me in bed.

But, as of 3 days ago, everything has been seeming okay! We're cuddling, kissing, touching, and had intercourse...however, when I told him 'I love you' he said 'mhm'...He hasn't said it in over a week...

He may still be feeling a certain way about was going on before...idk...he doesn't really talk about his feelings

If a male could answer this that would be great!!
