Rant kinda

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months, over this past 6 months almost every time we’ve hung out my mum has had to pick him up or drop me off... he won’t even ask his parents if they can drive him! Mum is getting a bit sick of it, I don’t have my license but if she can’t drive me I try to find other ways, his first go to is “can your mum pick me up?”

This Friday I’m going to meet up with him, I’ve found my own way there and own way back, all I need is for his parents to drive me LITERALLY 5min away so I can stay at my best friends house for the night and her parents won’t pick me up from the restaurant but he says they won’t either (he won’t even ask them!) I would walk there but it’ll be late and the town he lives in isn’t exactly one of the safest towns in our local area so I don’t feel safe doing that or catching the courtesy bus... I’m just a bit sick of him relying on my mum to pick him up and drop him home! Like literally the next day is my birthday party (my 18th) and she is picking him up, so to save petrol I decided it would be easier if I stayed the night at my friends house and I offered her a ride too!

I’ve also told him about how my mum doesn’t wanna do many trips to Eden and stuff but he’s still won’t even ask his parents! It’s just so frustrating! I wish he would just ask!
