Is it to early to say "I love you"?

I met my girlfriend on a dating app in early January. She lives an hour and a half away so we don't get to see each other too often but when I do see her I just don't want to leave her. I really want to tell her that I love her but I don't want it to be too early and scare her off. She is coming over to my house and spending the weekend with me and I didn't know if this would be a good time to tell her or not. We say that we love things about each other all the time but we have never actually said I love you. Please help me! Thank you.

My s.o said he loved me a month into our relationship and he did not get offended i didnt say it back, i had very strong feelings for him but i wasnt ready. But two more months passed and i told him i loved him. Now three and a half years later we have a beautiful daughter together and another on the way. And he is the best step father to my little boy. He is simply the best thing that has ever happened to me. And if you really love her, i would tell her! I wish the best for you 💕

When I started dating my fiancé we had only been together for a couple months and I felt ready to tell him, but same, I didn’t want to scare him off. I let it fester for about a week and then he actually said it first! 
I was so relieved and I was like “Omg I’ve been knowing that I loved you but I was too afraid to say it!” 
Go for it. Don’t be shy about how you feel! If she doesn’t reciprocate right away, don’t be bummed out, just give her some time. You might be pleasantly surprised though, and she could say it right back and you’ll be so glad you told her!

For me that would be too early but I know a lot of people that that would be fine for. No one knows your significant other more than you so I’d go with what you and they are comfortable with. Everyone’s relationship moves at a different pace. I say go for it. Just be sure you aren’t pressuring them into saying it too soon.

I told my fiancé first, about 3 months in! I say go for it! If she doesn’t say it back she may just not be on that level yet which is fine! It’s ok to take things slow too. I don’t think you could go wrong either way. Do what your gut feels is right at the time!

Absolutely I would wait, there’s nothing worse than the awkward rejection or not getting the answer you want or them saying I love things about you too or thank you or any other response you could possibly get. It’s like when someone proposes, and the other person says no you can’t really come back from that. Honestly I would wait, play it cool, go with the flow, most people it takes them a good six months to a year before they say I love you. Remember things that happen fast, end fast. If someone told me after 3 months￼ I love you I would be taken aback and tell them look thank you but I’m not there yet and then feel pressure or obligated after that if I said it back. I would rather it be genuine and than forced or pressured.
