Should we stay together but live separately?

I can’t take it anymore 😕 he is lovely and I love him so so much!! But he takes up so much room!! He loves guitar which is great! And I support his hobby! Even made it so his guitars are hung in our lounge as the main feature but he is starting to horde... he’s starting to keep things that are broken or he will never use “because one day they might have a use” we live in a two bed flat with two kids and two cats. There are 6 living things in our small flat and we cant afford to keep stuff that isn’t necessary! Our flat is getting cramped more and more. I don’t want to be here! I don’t have room for anything for me. I’ve talked to him about it and he just gets angry or makes me feel guilty! I’m sick of it!!! I’ve said I don’t want to live here anymore but I want to be with him but he says if I leave then we are over. I’m miserable. What do I do?!?

I mean he’s telling you he values his junk over you so at that point you’d have to make a decision to put up with it if you can’t get a bigger place or leave

Sounds like his hoarding is becoming an issue, he may need therapy. My brother in law does the same thing. He may need it one day. Their house is terrible can't move anywhere. I don't visit there anymore because it's full. U shouldn't HAVE to move to fit his stuff. He needs to speak to someone in that field to figure out why hes doing this. Moving won't fix it. He'll just get more stuff.  U can talk to him but he won't listen in the way u need.  So see if he's open to speaking to someone

I dont think a bigger place us going to solve it. Sounds like he has some hoarding traits. I would talk to him about getting help but if he cant accept it and you cant deal I would end things

I wouldn’t bother asking stuff like this on here sweet. 😕 women are so bitchy and have no idea what your situation is. You could put a post up with something that completely isn’t your fault and people on here will turn it round on you. It’s as bad as Facebook, if not worse because it’s all bitchy keyboard warriors. You either need to find a bigger place or tell him the junk needs to go. Or he needs to get a storage unit or something. Look on Pinterest for organization ideas. Maybe you can downsize on everything. That will make more room for storage. I’m sure his stuff isn’t the only junk you have.

You will have this problem even if you guys move into a bigger property. It sounds like you can’t actually live together. That would drive me mad too and im a messy person but i do get rid of things that have broken and stopped working coz there’s literally no point to keeping them

If y’all really want it to work I’d try looking into a bigger place so you’ll both have room to keep your stuff... But if that’s not an option I’d just leave since he clearly isn’t concerned about losing u or care about your feelings in this situation. If he sees you really leave and if he wants to make it work than you will. Only time will tell.
