Cows milk for 11 month old?

Has anyone givin cows milk to their 11 month old? I got the okay from baby’s doctor but I’m still scared. So far she has no allergies, she eats three meals a day plus snacks, she does get constipated at times. Any advice about cows milk?

We started to mix whole milk in with my daughters frozen breastmilk around 11 months. Started slowly just an ounce per bottle and slowly increased the cows milk and deceased the breastmilk until we ran out of my freezer stash.

Have you fed her any dairy products so far? If you have and she's had no issues it should be fine. I cut her formula for awhile first just to make her formula last a little longer but we've been on straight milk since 11.5 months now

We had no issues I did use lactose free though because it’s what we already bought to drink for her dad

my daughter does great. no issues whatsoever started giving little bits here and there around 10mo, now takes whole milk as she’s 1yr now. you can start with say 2oz whole milk to 6oz formula and then go from there. however you feel is best for you and your child. since she does have issues with constipation here and there no more than 24 oz whole milk a day or it will back them up.

Cows milk is meant for baby cows. It’s high in a lot of chemicals and hormones not meant for humans and is made to grow a baby calf into a large mammal. I suggest oat milk or a milk from nuts as it usually has more calcium, and benefits, proteins, and does not cause any digestive issues. Good luck. :-)
