I’ve been losing weight consistently. I lost 80% of baby weight by 6 weeks. I couldn’t believe it.

For me I was really hungry and thirsty but I ended up losing weight while breastfeeding. I did eat more snacks and smaller meals though so that may be why. My sister has always gained a little while breastfeeding. I think it depends!

For my first pregnancy I lost most of the pregnancy weight by my 6 week pp check. I know I also wasn't eating enough as I was exhausted and mostly on my own. Through my bf journey I ended up losing more than my pregnancy weight but once I stopped at 16 months I gained and went back to my bodies happy place. 
New baby is 2 weeks old and I have lost about 20 pounds of the 35 I gained, and I know I am eating plenty of calories this time.

You’re body is constantly burning calories like it’s working out but that doesn’t mean you’re going to lose weight any faster. Everyone is different. It also depends on diet and exercise just like everything else. I didn’t notice a difference until I actually stopped breastfeeding. That’s when I seen results. I breastfed for 19 months as well and don’t regret it one bit
