Working with assault victims

So I’m not sure if I’m gonna get an answer to this but I thought it would be worth a shot to ask. I was in a previous abusive relationship. He absolutely ruined my life, and I literally had to pick myself back up and completely start over at 23. I’m 25 now, I want to be a nurse someday and working right now as a nurse assistant, I went back to college online when I’m not working. I’m also realizing that I want to help other women who might be in that situation. Does anyone know of any careers where I could do this? Is it too late to even try to do something like that? I’ve been thinking about this for a couple years, I really want my past situation to have a good outcome I don’t want it to be for no reason, I think I could be an asset to others since I’ve been there before too.
