Would you consider us irresponsible pet owners?

We have four dogs, all senior (7+, with two being 11+). We went to the vet today to do a compatibility test for another dog. Our dogs are chilled, except for the one. She's an 8 year old pitbull stafffie cross and to say she us high energy is an understatement. She never went for training because we couldn't afford it when we got her (unplanned emergency rescue) but we made sure she was always socialised with other animals.

I played with her for half an hour before my husband came to fetch us, she was walked up and down a few times at the vet too.

Well we tried with two dogs. Our crazy dog kept shouting at them (she does this when she's excited, she does it every night at supper time). She also kept trying to initiate play by pawing and jumping on the and the one dog dog snappy with her.

She's not an aggressive dog at all, she never attacked and when they snapped at her, she never retaliated. She just didn't understand why these dogs didn't want to play with her.

Would you consider us irresponsible because she's so high energy and she kept trying to get the dogs to play despite them not appreciating it? The one lady kept giving weird eyes but the guy that was there with the dogs didn't seem concerned. I'm just worried they considered us irresponsible because she seemed so out of control.
