Nursing how many times a day?

Hey mommas - for those of you who are still exclusively breastfeeding how many times a day? I usually nurse my son 4 times a day (in between 3 solids meals) and he has 1 sippy cup of breastmilk when I pump once a day. I was planning on waiting until he can have vitamin D cows milk in a few weeks when he’s 1 to replace one of those with cows milk to start slowing my production. Curious of how else everyone is handling as I’m a first time mom of an 11 month old. By the way, my son is becoming less interested in his 330 nursing session. He doesn’t eat for long then so I also wonder if I should stop feeding him then and offer him a purée pouch snack when he wakes up from his nap instead of nursing him. Thx!!!

My son will be 1 May 6th and I just started weaning him this weekend. He was nursing 5-6x a day but now he’s down to 3-4x a day and we introduced whole milk to him. So far he’s done amazing with the whole milk. He also gets water with meals. We did BLW with him. So he eats 3 meals a day since 7/8 months and he has 2-3 snacks through out the day.

We’re down to 3 nursing sessions, right before naps and bed. She stopped with the morning nursing session after waking about a month ago. She’s also not super enthusiastic during the afternoon session. She’s slowly starting to self-wean.

Hey! My boy is 11 months he eats 3 solid meals a day and 1 "snack" some days when he really hungry, if not a full snack then he has Cheerios or something. I was nursing him on demand until last month when my supply dropped. The pediatrician gave me thumbs up to start supplementing with cows milk in a cup. So now we nurse morning and night and he has two 8oz cups of milk during the day (wake at 6:30 and nurse, breakfast 8am, milk 1030am, lunch 1pm, milk 3:30pm, dinner 6:30pm, bed at 8pm and nurse). My daughter still nurses on demand, except during the 4 hours I work(she nurses one half way through on my break), so I've no clue how many times a day she nurses. She eats 3 meals a day as well, and eats nearly as much as her 2yo brother. I nursed him on demand as well until my milk dried up from medication at 12m. I'm not planning on weaning my daughter unless I have to (milk dries up or nursing becomes to painful). I'll likely end up tandem nursing her and our baby due in November as she doesn't seem to want to stop

She still nurses 4x day. Big nursing sessions first thing in morning and before bed. I’ve been religious about pumping since I recently went back to work- if I had to guess, she’s only taking 3 or so ounces during daytime sessions because she is not super interested and will stop before I’m empty. She is a HEARTY eater, three very solid meals per day and a snack. We will transition to sippy cups at age 1 with her meals and I imagine this will precipitate more weaning. With my son, we stopped nursing around 14 mos once he was fully on sippy cups and no longer interested in nursing. I imagine this will look similar with her, but we shall see!
