Maybe stupid question?

Question

So we just bought a home a few months ago. We had the home sprayed for bugs before we moved in. We have been having a serious ant problem and it seems to be getting worse. We need to have it sprayed again. I’m not sure if it’s safe while pregnant? I know most pesticides are not safe to be around so the thought of having the whole house sprayed doesn’t sound like it would be too safe. I am going to call my OB and ask but I figured I would ask here too just to get some input.

we’ve had ours done twice throughout my pregnancy and the guy who does ours just has us leave for two hours after he sprays. he said the sprays he uses aren’t harmful to humans when dry but has us disinfect furniture and wash all dishes before using them.

I personally avoid sprays. We use torro traps. My husband wears gloves and puts them where their trail won't get on our counters where we cook.

Have them treat outside your home. I had that done and no ants.

Treat the yard rather than the house and stay off the grass for a bit xx

My husband used to do pest control and he would use a gel for ants instead of a spray. They can put the gel in places where animals can’t get to it and it won’t affect your air quality at all:)
