Process for a c section

Hey ladies I’ve been scheduled for a c section on august 5th the doctor thinks it’s the safest option I have a growth scan in July the doctor said after the scan someone will contact me to discuss the c section Further or i can asked to be induced, The doctor will be calling me back august 4th is this normal for them to contact you one day Before surgery I’ve tried calling the hospital and no ones really answering my question when does my blood get checked I’m also anaemic my midwifes basically left Everything the doctor I’m not sure what’s going on
