What is in Your opinion the best convertible car seat? Looking to get my daughter one for when she a little older, but at a loss of which one to get.

Seconding the Graco Extend2Fit! My oldest is turning 5 in June and still rear facing comfortably in this seat!

Extended rear facing, wool instead of chemical flame retardants, incredibly easy install. Don’t bother looking elsewhere. We also love our clek foonf, but they need to be able to sit on their own before use.

We have this one and really like it. It is nearly identical to the graco extend2fit but I got a better deal (sale and coupon from the website).  My husband and I looked at them in the store and compared them

We love graco extend to fit. My daughter has been in it since 8 months and she’s 2.5 now. Still rear facing which is much safer. She will probably rear face another year before we turn it around. I have a pretty small car too. It works well for me in all areas and she’s very comfy and safe. 🙂.

Choosing the best seat depends on what you’re looking for, but for me the most convenient thing about my Cybex was that it could swivel, so I could turn the seat towards me to load and unload my baby, without having to contort my body to get him in and out of the car seat. 
It also has a SensorSafe buckle, meaning it alerts you if your child is overheating, if they somehow unbuckle their belt, and even plays a jingle when you turn off your car to remind you your child is in their seat (I’ve never forgotten, but obviously you always read the news about babies being left in hot cars). 
We have a maxi cosi pria 85 max in our second vehicle and I remember when I had to take that car, I realized how spoiled I was by my cybex lol. I love it so much. Biggest bonus, you don’t need to uninstall when turning it to forward face, you just swivel!
