Doctor rant

Emma

So after my sons 1st birthday he got a fever. We went in and they said he can’t go inside cause he’s had a fever within the last 24hrs. Ok fine. COVID, right. They came out and assessed it was an ear infection and NOT COVID so we were able to go inside. They gave him antibiotics and then 6 days later he develops congestion. Runny/stuffy nose and a cough so I call them back and they set a virtual visit. This time they prescribe something for his congestion. Yesterday I noticed little red dots but didn’t think much of it cause I get heat rash and so I thought that’s what he had. Now today 2nd day on the congestion meds we woke up and he has the red all over his back, face, and arms. I call them back to tell them and they said he can’t go in cause it sounds like a rash. So another virtual visit but my thing is How can they diagnose over the phone if they can’t see what I’m seeing? It’s not a video chat it’s just a phone call. Anyway here are some pics . I think it might be a reaction to the meds cause that’s the only new thing he’s taken...anyone else experience this
