Membrane sweep?

OB told me I was 2cm dilated & 60/70% effaced she swept my membranes. ? I’m hoping my chances of labor this weekend are high? What do y’all think?

It all depends. I had 2 sweeps done & they didn’t do anything. I ended up being induced. However both of my sisters kids came after getting a membrane sweep!

It’s a coin toss. I had one @38 with my first. Had her at 40 exactly and one 39wks with my second and was induced 40+4. I was sure it was gonna work since I’d be having contractions for weeks but it didn’t 😭

I was 90% effaced and 3cm dilated got swept twice and it did nothing. Still had to be induced

She told you she swept them?!? Not asked if you wanted them swept! Or did she ask? 
 
How many weeks are you? I think it’s more likely to work the further along you are
