I could use some advice
I have one daughter and for the past two years I’ve been so sure we wouldn’t have more kids. I had a pretty horrible pregnancy and didn’t want to go through that again. I also really don’t want to go through the infant phase again.
But recently I’ve started to question that decision. I’ve thought about what it’s like for my mom (who is an only child) as an adult. I know she wishes she had siblings. Also I don’t want my daughter to be alone when she gets older. I can’t imagine my life without my siblings. But my husband is really unsure about having more kids. He basically told me no.
So my question is for anyone who is an only child. Do you think your childhood and life as an adult would have been better if you weren’t an only child? Are you glad you’re an only child?
Also if this is the wrong group to post this just left me know.
